Shaw Valenza partners Jennifer Shaw and Greg Valenza presented "Four Legal Trends You Cannot Ignore" on March 19, 2008, at the National HR in Hospitality Conference in Las Vegas. Over 100 senior human resources professionals heard Jennifer and Greg address timely issues such as the use of electronic technology in recruiting, new trends in immigration law, and balancing affirmative action and diversity obligations under anti-discrimination laws. Her revelation of the legislature’s exemption of its members drew ethics trainer Jennifer Brown Shaw big laughs from the 115 local officials and board members who gathered at Jensen Hall on Oct. 17 and 18 to take the training mandated by Assembly Bill 1234.
